Pickberry Cabernet 2017 TAP
My husband and I are SUPER FANS of The Tasting Room, and we've introduced so many friends to it over the years who all rave, as well. Beautiful space, great tunes, outstanding personalized service, and amazing wines and tapas. My go-to is the Pickberry Cab. If I'm feeling festive, I'll start with some bubbles selected by Nico and follow-up with a Pickberry and a snack -- maybe a Tarte Flambe or the new fois on toast. Magnifique!!
Tarte Flambée
Nico and his entourage are gifted hosts. Food and wine are excellent. Worth setting up a recurring visit to support them, and add to your quality of life.

Creme Fraiche, Caramelized Onions that is smooth and creamy You can smell Bacon cooking when you walk in. It's hardy shareable appetizer or meal. Extensive wine list. Ask for the flavors you enjoy and the knowledgeable staff will pair wines with your food choices. Don't miss this hidden Uptown gem.
Morgon "Cote du Py", Jean Foillard 2019 BTL
I went here for my birthday cocktail hour before dinner. It was my first visit and was excited to try out the space. I was very impressed with not only the by the glass menu but especially the bottle list. What I loved even more is that if you commit to buying two glasses, you can order any wine from the bottle list and they will open it. This gave me a chance to try a wine I'd been wanting to try for about a year. They also took me down to the cellar to check out the wines before deciding. It was an excellent experience and I will be back.
Duck Rillettes
What a cozy and perfect spot for a snowy evening! Our first time visiting and we're making plans to return SOON! We were enchanted by the ambience (great music!), loved the duck rillettes and tarte flambe ... and wine, of course. This place is a true Uptown treasure!
Bedrock Wine Co. Evangelho Vineyard 2017, CA - Zinfandel Blend
I've been to The Tasting Room in both summer and winter, and it's always inviting---the sidewalk is breezy, and the indoor tables are cozy and intimate. Pretty much every time, I've had a wine flight, because I know that whatever the proprietor, Nico, chooses will be thoughtful and delicious. There are flights on the menu, but Nico is happy to put together one on whatever theme you like. The nibblies they have available are simple but perfect accompaniments. The Tasting Room is honestly one of my favorite places to go to catch up with a good friend or two.
Large Charcuterie & Cheese Board
Phenomenal quality and variety. We had a party of four and this was and appropriate size to share.
Valais, Avalanche 2018, Switzerland - Pinot Noir
The tasting room has the best wine list of any wine bar in the state, and beats almost all of the restaurants. One of the more unique offerings here... but really anywhere... is the Valais Swiss Pinot Noir. The Sommelier recommended it. It was phenomenal and fun.
Large Charcuterie & Cheese Board
The Tasting Room is one of my favorite places in Minneapolis. The wine selection is refined and delicious. The food is exceptional! Every dish I've tried I have thoroughly enjoyed. The pizza and the charcuterie board are stand-outs. When I want to celebrate or really luxuriate, the Tasting Room is my first choice!
